Restrictions on use of public parks and squares
The Government is calling upon the public to limit their use of public parks, green spaces, squares and the Rheinbord. The fight against the coronavirus requires everybody to maintain a distance from other people, including when they are outdoors. Everybody is therefore urged not to remain for long periods in busy recreational spaces. Picnics and barbeques are banned. People can walk or jog in recreational spaces. However, gathering in larger groups must be avoided. Children and their carers can spend time in playgrounds. If everybody follows these rules, parks and public green spaces will be able to stay open.
