The counters of the cantonal administration will open again as normal from 22 June
The counters of the cantonal administration will open again as normal from Monday, 22 June 2020. A safety policy that has been drawn up especially for counter services aims to give customers and staff in public administration the best possible protection against infection with the coronavirus.
Today, the Government enacted a safety policy for customer contact. It describes the guidelines that the cantonal administration must follow in order to be able to continue its activities relating to customer contacts under COVID-19. If possible, the counter areas must be fitted with screens. Face masks are recommended where screens cannot be put up and where customers need to be at the counter for longer periods at a distance of fewer than two metres. In these cases, face masks will be handed out to customers.
On 20 March 2020, the Government took the decision to impose restrictions on counter services for health reasons, because of COVID-19. Today's decision by the Government lifts these restrictions.
