General decision extended

The general decision of the Cantonal Physician regarding general compulsory mask wearing and the ban on consuming food and beverages on common ground in Steinenvorstadt is being extended until 30 June 2021 and is considered to have been published with this publication.

Against the background of the relaxations for restaurants as of 19 April 2021, passed by the Federal Council, the Medical Services (Medizinische Dienste) of the Department of Health ordered general compulsory mask wearing and a ban on consuming food and beverages on common ground in Steinenvorstadt by means of the general decision of 19 April 2021. This measure came into force at 00:00 on 19 April 2021 and will remain in force until 31 May 2021 at the latest.

In view of the further relaxation steps at the end of May, promised by the Federal Council on 12 May 2021, the period of the aforementioned general decision is being extended until 30 June 2021, in order to further stabilise the epidemiological situation.
