Current status of vaccinations

As of yesterday Thursday, 13 May 2021, a total of 84,366 vaccinations have so far been administered in the vaccination centre, in the hospitals and by the mobile units in the Canton of Basel-Stadt (total for the previous week: 63,316). 25,920 people have been fully vaccinated with the first and second vaccination (total for the previous week: 20,049).

As of yesterday evening, 42,396 people had pre-registered for vaccination. In addition, a further 38,822 people have a pre-arranged appointment at the vaccination centre.

What should you do if your allocated appointments are unsuitable? If you are unable to attend your first vaccination appointment, you can postpone it by following the link sent with the appointment. You will then be allocated a new appointment, usually in the same week. If you can’t attend that appointment either, you can cancel it. You will remain on the waiting list with the same registration date. You will then be allocated another new appointment the next time appointments are allocated. If you can’t make the appointment for your second vaccination only, the easiest thing to do is to have it changed at the vaccination centre. If you deregister you will need to register again. Your registration date will be deleted if you deregister.

During the past week (08 until 14/05) around 11,200 vaccination appointments were allocated for first vaccinations in the vaccination centre (previous week: 9,100).
