Coronavirus: 10,000th person fully vaccinated at the Basel vaccination centre

Today Lina Arti was the 10,000th Basel-Stadt resident to receive her second vaccination in the vaccination centre. Her husband Giulio Arti is the 10,001st Basler to be fully vaccinated with the first and second vaccinations. Head of the Department of Health Lukas Engelberger presented Mrs Arti with a bouquet of flowers.

Today, 3 March 2021 marked a milestone: The Department of Health and Meconex, operator of the Basel vaccination centre, were delighted to welcome the 10,000th person to the vaccination centre for their second vaccination. This means that over ten thousand Basel residents have already been fully vaccinated with the first and second vaccination.

Over lunchtime today, 87-year-old Lina Arti became the 10,000th Basel resident to receive her second vaccination at the cantonal vaccination centre in Messe Basel. Her 90-year-old husband Giulio Arti is the 10,001st fully vaccinated Basler. Head of the Department of Health Lukas Engelberger presented Mrs Arti with a bouquet of flowers for her second vaccination and thanked her and her husband for their interest in the vaccine.
